What is one of your addictions?

Montezuma chocolate "almost made on a beach in Sussex" (UK). I'll add some pics later (of boxes -the chocolates have a low life span).
...Hogmanay in Glasgow is cancelled due to the monsoon and Edinburgh looks a bit 50/50.
The BBC struggle to transmit...
and the lights Flickr flicker with power surges
I resort to sensible candles
(atmosphereric and in case the power fails)
and I wish my windup radio was a windup TV.
Sounds like its 80MPH wind here. Hope the 6 Hogmanay stages are tied down and insulated well. Happy New Year Voxers.

Update: Edinburgh official celebrations (the ones on stages) cancelled (one stage lost its cover) and listening to the noise outside probably a wise move. Update II: We had the castle canon firing (5 seconds early) and some fireworks over the castle which failed to blow into anything.
What song gives you the most holiday cheer?

# Oh the weather outside is frightful.... let it snow (CTRL C,V) let it snow, let it snow.
Since being in Scotland I like it less.
Seattle was being battered by dire weather according to KEXP internet radio. They were doing related songs like Travis:
#Why does it always....
Have you ever Googled your own name? How did you feel about the results?

A few times. After many years of being unique (first name and surname) there is another me in Australia but he doesn't do much on the web (just his company site). I've been watching how my ClaimID page stays in the Goggle top ten - it needs updating now and again or it drops off. The first ten are all about me. A result of webweb (better than web2.0?) use and posting in forums.
Windows, Mac, Linux - What's your preference and why?
Submitted by ramblingsbymark.
Windows - better the devil you know. Although WMP, IE and Outlook have been disabled to be replaced by RealAlternative/ Winamp, Firefox and Mozilla products. Wasn't until I reinstalled that I had to remember all the tricks to not install annoying features/ disable them when installed.
Manually typed title, tags and quote as the autofill isn't working for me.
Bought small pumpkin, carved it (with an evil smile - not this :< ) crap smiley face that I was seeing on TV), oven baked the seeds (cleaning them is a pain) after adding olive oil. Not bad for £1.30. Like a happy meal with a bonus toy but unquantifiably healthier. No trick or treaters. Egg remains spotted this morning around town: 12.
